This BASIC language course consists of two textbooks, which include more than 600 hundreds original programs for students to type in the computer. Only 20% of each book
is dedicated to theory, which is explained clearly and straight to the point. Students are
encouraged to understand and complete a wide variety of computer programs, which gradually become more and more challenging.
Designing computer graphics and music, and manipulating sequential data files, are three of the topics that students will greatly enjoy. Even those students with very little knowledge of music theory, will be able to learn music notation and how to convert a melody to play in the computer. The Computer Music chapter is 40 pages in length and includes 20 complete popular melodies. The three chapters dedicated to High Resolution Graphics incorporate more than 100 programs.
